Do the perfect pair of boobs really exist? Surgeon has come up with a ‘magic formula’ for the ideal breasts
Science has settled some pretty big arguments in its time but this could be the biggest of all.
There IS such a thing as the perfect breast, and there’s even a mathematical formula for it- it’s all about precise proportions!
It’s not just opinion either – there’s actual science behind it. Having hit on the perfect boobs theory he’s gone on to prove it in a study recently published in the official medical journal of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
In a nutshell, nearly 1,500 people were shown images of different breast shapes and, across all ages, genders and nationalities, there was a remarkable consensus on what made the nicest knockers.
Ready for the science? It’s not just one thing but four that makes the perfect breast.
1. The magic number
It’s all about the ratio between the volume in the upper and lower part of the breast: the perfect breast is 45% upper half, 55% lower half.
Interestingly, the research showed that a perfectly globe-like 50/50 ratio – which is often what cosmetic surgery aims for – was less pleasing to look at than a breast that was very slightly bottom heavy.
What’s more, the 50/50 boob was actually less popular with men than women.
“It totally blows the myth that men prefer a fake looking breast,” says Patrick.

2. A smooth upper slope
OK you weren’t expecting to hear that a sunken chest was top of the boobs wish list, but more surprising is the discovery that an visibly rounded upper breast isn’t ideal either.
Looked at from the side, the perfect breast contour from chest wall to nipple is either a straight slope or a very slight outward curve.
3. A skyward pointing nipple
Nipples shouldn’t point down or even straight ahead – in the perfect breast they are looking up. But not too skyward-pointing either (a common problem with a bad boob job). An elevation of around 20 degrees is the ideal.
4. A tight convex lower curve
No shocks here: the contour running down from the nipple to the base fold of the breast should be a smooth, tight curve rather than a collapsed bag of sag.
These perfect proportions held true regardless of the size of the breasts shown to the research participants.
“Nice breasts are nice breasts, irrespective of size- it’s about ideal proportions.
The only thing that counts is what the breast looks like! All this for just 115,000 Baht in Phuket, Thailand or just $4,300 AUD or $4,400 AUD!
